On May 22, 2008, Feast of Corpus Christi, members of the Confraternity of St Peter on the East Coast of the USA were able to attend at a Mass offered in Pequannock (NJ) by the General Chaplain. In his homily the celebrant insisted on the public dimension of the cult due to the Holy Eucharist. After thanksgiving, members of the Confraternity and other interested persons gathered for a conference presenting this organization and its goals.
On May 24, 2008, another conference gathered members of the Confraternity in the Middle-West of the USA in St Francis Church, Lincoln (NE). The General Chaplain blessed the banner of the Omaha Chapter of the Confraternity. After praying the Prayer of the Confraternity together in the church, the members went down to the parish cafeteria for coffee and cakes.

April 6, 2008: First day of recollection of the French-speaking members of the Confraternity
For the first time in the Confraternity's brief history, some French-speaking members were able to gather together in the FSSP house in Annecy (episcopal see of St Francis de Sales). They came from French-speaking Switzerland, from Lyon, from Franche-Comté and from Britanny. Among them were parents of FSSP clerics and also one religious priest. After a solemn high Mass and a confraternal lunch, the members attended a conference by the General Chaplain. Benediction concluded the day, with the Prayer of the Confraternity recited before the Blessed Sacrament at the intention of all the members of the Confraternity.

February 22, 2008: First anniversary of the foundation of the Confraternity of Saint Peter
On February 22, 2008, on the feast of the Chair of St Peter, a solemn high Mass was offered in the Motherhouse of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter at the intention of all (1,667) members of the Confraternity. The celebrant was Fr Armand de Malleray as General Chaplain of the Confraternity, whereas Rev. Mr. Stefan Reiner, in charge of German-speaking members, assisted as deacon. British FSSP seminarian Mr William Barker fulfilled the function of subdeacon.
The celebrant quoted in his sermon Pope Benedict XVI’s address to the Italian confraternities gathered on St Peter’s Square last November: “I ask you above all to take care of your spiritual formation and to tend to holiness”. All other liturgical functions were performed by FSSP seminarians from Wigratzbad.
After Holy Mass, all Confraternity members present were invited to share the community’s breakfast in the seminary refectory. To conclude, all members proceeded for Benediction to the seminary chapel, where they renewed their commitment by reciting together the Prayer of the Confraternity.
